Lord, hear my voice: let thine ears be attentive to the voice of my supplications.
Here, hoor my stem: laat u ore aandagtig wees op die stem van my smekinge.

If thou, LORD, shouldest mark iniquities, O Lord, who shall stand?
As U, HERE, ongeregtighede sou merk, o Here, wie sou bestaan?

But [there is] forgiveness with thee, that thou mayest be feared.
Maar by U is vergifnis, dat U gevrees mag word.

I wait for the LORD, my soul doth wait, and in his word do I hope.
Ek wag op die HERE, my siel wag, en op sy woord hoop ek.

My soul [waiteth] for the Lord more than they that watch for the morning: [I say, more than] they that watch for the morning.
My siel wag op die Here meer as dié wat vir die môre wag: ek sê, meer as dié wat vir die môre wag.

Let Israel hope in the LORD: for with the LORD [there is] mercy, and with him [is] plenteous redemption.
Laat Israel op die HERE hoop: want by die HERE is barmhartigheid, en by Hom is oorvloedige verlossing.

And he shall redeem Israel from all his iniquities.
En Hy sal Israel verlos van al sy ongeregtighede.
