But in the last days it shall come to pass, [that] the mountain of the house of the LORD shall be established in the top of the mountains, and it shall be exalted above the hills; and people shall flow unto it.
Maar in die laaste dae sal dit gebeur, dat die berg van die huis van die HERE vasgestel sal word op die top van die berge, en dit sal verhef word bo die heuwels; en die volk sal daarna toestroom.

And many nations shall come, and say, Come, and let us go up to the mountain of the LORD, and to the house of the God of Jacob; and he will teach us of his ways, and we will walk in his paths: for the law shall go forth of Zion, and the word of the LORD from Jerusalem.
En baie nasies sal kom, en sê, Kom, en laat ons optrek na die berg van die HERE, en na die huis van die God van Jakob; en Hy sal ons van sy weë leer, en ons sal in sy paaie wandel: want die wet sal uit Sion uitgaan, en die woord van die HERE uit Jérusalem.

And he shall judge among many people, and rebuke strong nations afar off; and they shall beat their swords into plowshares, and their spears into pruninghooks: nation shall not lift up a sword against nation, neither shall they learn war any more.
En Hy sal oordeel tussen baie volk, en regspreek onder sterk nasies ver weg; en hulle sal hulle swaarde tot ploegskare slaan, en hulle spiese tot snoeimesse: nasie sal nie swaard optel teen nasie nie, en hulle sal nie meer oorlog leer nie.

But they shall sit every man under his vine and under his fig tree; and none shall make [them] afraid: for the mouth of the LORD of hosts hath spoken [it].
Maar hulle sal elkeen onder sy wingerdstok en onder sy vyeboom sit; en niemand sal hulle bang maak nie: want die mond van die HERE van leërskare het dit gespreek.

For all people will walk every one in the name of his god, and we will walk in the name of the LORD our God for ever and ever.
Want al die volk sal elkeen in die naam van sy god wandel, en ons sal in die Naam van die HERE onse God wandel vir ewig en altyd.

In that day, saith the LORD, will I assemble her that halteth, and I will gather her that is driven out, and her that I have afflicted;
In daardie dag, sê die HERE, sal ek haar wat hink bymekaarmaak, en haar wat uitgedryf is, bymekaarmaak, en haar wat ek verdruk het;

And I will make her that halted a remnant, and her that was cast far off a strong nation: and the LORD shall reign over them in mount Zion from henceforth, even for ever.
En ek sal haar wat hink ‚'n oorblyfsel maak, en haar wat ver weg gewerp is ‚'n sterk nasie: en die HERE sal oor hulle in die berg Sion heers van nou af selfs vir ewig.

And thou, O tower of the flock, the strong hold of the daughter of Zion, unto thee shall it come, even the first dominion; the kingdom shall come to the daughter of Jerusalem.
En jy, o toring van die kudde, die sterkhede van die dogter van Sion, tot jou sal dit kom, selfs die eerste heerskappy; die koninkryk sal tot die dogter van Jérusalem kom.

Now why dost thou cry out aloud? [is there] no king in thee? is thy counseller perished? for pangs have taken thee as a woman in travail.
Nou waarom roep jy hardop? is daar geen koning in jou nie? is jou raadsman vergaan? want pyne het jou aangegryp soos ‚'n vrou in barensnood.

Be in pain, and labour to bring forth, O daughter of Zion, like a woman in travail: for now shalt thou go forth out of the city, and thou shalt dwell in the field, and thou shalt go [even] to Babylon; there shalt thou be delivered; there the LORD shall redeem thee from the hand of thine enemies.
Wees in pyn, en arbei om voort te bring, o dogter van Sion, soos ‚'n vrou in barensnood: want nou sal jy uit die stad uitgaan, en jy sal in die veld woon, en jy sal tot by Babel gaan; daar sal jy verlos word; daar sal die HERE jou verlos uit die hand van jou vyande.

Now also many nations are gathered against thee, that say, Let her be defiled, and let our eye look upon Zion.
Nou is ook baie nasies teen jou bymekaargemaak, wat sê, Laat haar verontreinig word, en laat ons oë na Sion kyk.

But they know not the thoughts of the LORD, neither understand they his counsel: for he shall gather them as the sheaves into the floor.
Maar hulle ken nie die gedagtes van die HERE nie, en ook verstaan hulle nie sy raad nie: want Hy sal hulle bymekaarmaak soos die gerwe in die dorsvloer.

Arise and thresh, O daughter of Zion: for I will make thine horn iron, and I will make thy hoofs brass: and thou shalt beat in pieces many people: and I will consecrate their gain unto the LORD, and their substance unto the Lord of the whole earth.
Staan op en dors, o dogter van Sion: want ek sal jou horing yster maak, en ek sal jou hoewe koper maak: en jy sal baie volk stukkend stamp: en ek sal hulle wins aan die HERE wy, en hulle goed aan die Here van die hele aarde.
