And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying,

En die HERE het tot Moses gespreek, en gesê,

Take Aaron and his sons with him, and the garments, and the anointing oil, and a bullock for the sin offering, and two rams, and a basket of unleavened bread;

Neem Aäron en sy seuns saam met hom, en die klere, en die salfolie, en ’n bul tot ’n sondoffer, en twee ramme, en ’n mandjie ongesuurde brood;

And gather thou all the congregation together unto the door of the tabernacle of the congregation.

En versamel die hele vergadering by die deur van die tabernakel van die gemeente.

And Moses did as the LORD commanded him; and the assembly was gathered together unto the door of the tabernacle of the congregation.

En Moses het gedoen soos die HERE hom beveel het; en die vergadering is bymekaargemaak by die deur van die tabernakel van die gemeente.

And Moses said unto the congregation, This [is] the thing which the LORD commanded to be done.

En Moses het tot die vergadering gesê, Dit is die saak wat die HERE beveel het om te doen.

And Moses brought Aaron and his sons, and washed them with water.

En Moses het Aäron en sy seuns nader gebring, en hulle met water gewas.

And he put upon him the coat, and girded him with the girdle, and clothed him with the robe, and put the ephod upon him, and he girded him with the curious girdle of the ephod, and bound [it] unto him therewith.

En hy het hom die rok aangetrek, en hom met die gordel omgord, en hom die mantel aangetrek, en die efod op hom gesit, en hom daarmee omgord met die kunstige gordel van die efod, en dit aan hom vasgemaak.

And he put the breastplate upon him: also he put in the breastplate the Urim and the Thummim.

En hy het die borsplaat daarop gesit: ook het hy in die borsplaat die Urim en die Tummim gesit.

And he put the mitre upon his head; also upon the mitre, [even] upon his forefront, did he put the golden plate, the holy crown; as the LORD commanded Moses.

En hy het die tulband op sy hoof gesit; ook het hy op die tulband, vooraan, die goue plaat, die heilige kroon, gesit; soos die HERE Moses beveel het.

And Moses took the anointing oil, and anointed the tabernacle and all that [was] therein, and sanctified them.

En Moses het die salfolie geneem, en die tabernakel en alles wat daarin was, gesalf, en hulle geheilig.

11

And he sprinkled thereof upon the altar seven times, and anointed the altar and all his vessels, both the laver and his foot, to sanctify them.

En hy het daarvan sewe maal op die altaar gesprinkel, en die altaar en al sy gereedskap, en die waskom en sy voetstuk, gesalf, om hulle te heilig.

And he poured of the anointing oil upon Aaron’s head, and anointed him, to sanctify him.

En hy het van die salfolie op Aäron se hoof uitgegooi, en hom gesalf, om hom te heilig.

13

And Moses brought Aaron’s sons, and put coats upon them, and girded them with girdles, and put bonnets upon them; as the LORD commanded Moses.

En Moses het Aäron se seuns nader gebring, en hulle rokke aangetrek, en hulle met gordels omgord, en tulbande op hulle gesit; soos die HERE Moses beveel het.

And he brought the bullock for the sin offering: and Aaron and his sons laid their hands upon the head of the bullock for the sin offering.

En hy het die bul tot ’n sondoffer gebring: en Aäron en sy seuns het hulle hande op die kop van die bul van die sondoffer gelê.

15

And he slew [it]; and Moses took the blood, and put [it] upon the horns of the altar round about with his finger, and purified the altar, and poured the blood at the bottom of the altar, and sanctified it, to make reconciliation upon it.

En hy het hom geslag; en Moses het die bloed geneem, en dit met sy vinger op die horings van die altaar rondom gesit, en die altaar gereinig, en die bloed by die voet van die altaar uitgegooi, en dit geheilig, om versoening daarop te maak.

And he took all the fat that [was] upon the inwards, and the caul [above] the liver, and the two kidneys, and their fat, and Moses burned [it] upon the altar.

En hy het al die vet wat op die binnegoed was, en die vel oor die lewer, en die twee niere, en hulle vet geneem, en Moses het dit op die altaar aan die brand gestook.

17

But the bullock, and his hide, his flesh, and his dung, he burnt with fire without the camp; as the LORD commanded Moses.

Maar die bul, en sy vel, en sy vlees, en sy mis, het hy buite die kamp met vuur verbrand; soos die HERE Moses beveel het.

18

And he brought the ram for the burnt offering: and Aaron and his sons laid their hands upon the head of the ram.

En hy het die ram tot ’n brandoffer gebring: en Aäron en sy seuns het hulle hande op die kop van die ram gelê.

19

And he killed [it]; and Moses sprinkled the blood upon the altar round about.

En hy het hom geslag; en Moses het die bloed rondom op die altaar gesprinkel.

20

And he cut the ram into pieces; and Moses burnt the head, and the pieces, and the fat.

En hy het die ram in stukke gesny; en Moses het die kop, en die stukke, en die vet aan die brand gestook.

21

And he washed the inwards and the legs in water; and Moses burnt the whole ram upon the altar: it [was] a burnt sacrifice for a sweet savour, [and] an offering made by fire unto the LORD; as the LORD commanded Moses.

En hy het die binnegoed en die bene met water gewas: en Moses het die hele ram op die altaar aan die brand gestook: dit was ‚'n brandoffer tot ‚'n soete geur, en ‚'n vuuroffer aan die HERE; soos die HERE Moses beveel het.

And he brought the other ram, the ram of consecration: and Aaron and his sons laid their hands upon the head of the ram.

En hy het die ander ram gebring, die ram van toewyding: en Aäron en sy seuns het hulle hande op die kop van die ram gelê.

23

And he slew [it]; and Moses took of the blood of it, and put [it] upon the tip of Aaron’s right ear, and upon the thumb of his right hand, and upon the great toe of his right foot.

En hy het hom geslag; en Moses het van sy bloed geneem, en dit gesit aan die punt van Aäron se regteroor, en op die duim van sy regterhand, en op die groottoon van sy regtervoet.

And he brought Aaron’s sons, and Moses put of the blood upon the tip of their right ear, and upon the thumbs of their right hands, and upon the great toes of their right feet: and Moses sprinkled the blood upon the altar round about.

En hy het Aäron se seuns nader gebring, en Moses het van die bloed aan die punt van hulle regteroor gesit, en op die duime van hulle regterhande, en op die groottone van hulle regtervoete: en Moses het die bloed rondom op die altaar gesprinkel.

And he took the fat, and the rump, and all the fat that [was] upon the inwards, and the caul [above] the liver, and the two kidneys, and their fat, and the right shoulder:

En hy het die vet, en die stuit, en al die vet wat op die binnegoed was, en die vel oor die lewer, en die twee niere, en hulle vet, en die regterboud geneem:

And out of the basket of unleavened bread, that [was] before the LORD, he took one unleavened cake, and a cake of oiled bread, and one wafer, and put [them] on the fat, and upon the right shoulder:

En uit die mandjie van ongesuurde brood, wat voor die HERE was, het hy een ongesuurde koek geneem, en een koek van oliebrood, en een waferkoek, en dit op die vet en op die regterboud gesit:

And he put all upon Aaron’s hands, and upon his sons’ hands, and waved them [for] a wave offering before the LORD.

En hy het dit alles in Aäron se hande, en in sy seuns se hande gesit, en dit heen en weer beweeg tot ’n beweegoffer voor die HERE.

28

And Moses took them from off their hands, and burnt [them] on the altar upon the burnt offering: they [were] consecrations for a sweet savour: it [is] an offering made by fire unto the LORD.

En Moses het dit uit hulle hande geneem, en dit op die altaar aan die brand gestook op die brandoffer: dit was ‚'n toewyding tot ‚'n soete geur: dit was ‚'n vuuroffer aan die HERE.

And Moses took the breast, and waved it [for] a wave offering before the LORD: [for] of the ram of consecration it was Moses’ part; as the LORD commanded Moses.

En Moses het die bors geneem, en dit heen en weer beweeg tot ‚'n beweegoffer voor die HERE: want van die ram van toewyding was dit Moses se deel; soos die HERE Moses beveel het.

And Moses took of the anointing oil, and of the blood which [was] upon the altar, and sprinkled [it] upon Aaron, [and] upon his garments, and upon his sons, and upon his sons’ garments with him; and sanctified Aaron, [and] his garments, and his sons, and his sons’ garments with him.

En Moses het van die salfolie, en van die bloed wat op die altaar was, geneem, en dit op Aäron, op sy klere, en op sy seuns, en op die klere van sy seuns saam met hom gesprinkel; en hy het Aäron, sy klere, en sy seuns, en die klere van sy seuns saam met hom geheilig.

And Moses said unto Aaron and to his sons, Boil the flesh [at] the door of the tabernacle of the congregation: and there eat it with the bread that [is] in the basket of consecrations, as I commanded, saying, Aaron and his sons shall eat it.

En Moses het tot Aäron en tot sy seuns gesê, Kook die vlees by die deur van die tabernakel van die gemeente: en eet dit daar met die brood wat in die mandjie van toewydinge is, soos ek beveel het, en gesê het, Aäron en sy seuns moet dit eet.

32

And that which remaineth of the flesh and of the bread shall ye burn with fire.

En dit wat oorbly van die vlees en van die brood moet julle met vuur verbrand.

33

And ye shall not go out of the door of the tabernacle of the congregation [in] seven days, until the days of your consecration be at an end: for seven days shall he consecrate you.

En julle mag nie uitgaan uit die deur van die tabernakel van die gemeente sewe dae lank nie, totdat die dae van julle toewyding vervul is: want sewe dae moet hy julle toewy.

34

As he hath done this day, [so] the LORD hath commanded to do, to make an atonement for you.

Soos hy vandag gedoen het, so het die HERE beveel om te doen, om versoening vir julle te maak.

35

Therefore shall ye abide [at] the door of the tabernacle of the congregation day and night seven days, and keep the charge of the LORD, that ye die not: for so I am commanded.

Daarom moet julle by die deur van die tabernakel van die gemeente bly dag en nag sewe dae lank, en die bevel van die HERE onderhou, dat julle nie sterwe nie: want so is dit my beveel.

36

So Aaron and his sons did all things which the LORD commanded by the hand of Moses.

So het Aäron en sy seuns dan al die dinge gedoen wat die HERE deur die hand van Moses beveel het.
