1
I am sought of [them that] asked not [for me]; I am found of [them that] sought me not: I said, Behold me, behold me, unto a nation [that] was not called by my name.
Ek is gesoek deur dié wat nie na My gevra het nie; ek is gevind deur dié wat My nie gesoek het nie: ek het gesê, Kyk My, kyk My, tot ’n nasie wat nie by my Naam genoem is nie.

I have spread out my hands all the day unto a rebellious people, which walketh in a way [that was] not good, after their own thoughts;
Ek het my hande die hele dag uitgestrek tot ‚'n opstandige volk, wat wandel in ‚'n weg wat nie goed is nie, na hulle eie gedagtes;
3
A people that provoketh me to anger continually to my face; that sacrificeth in gardens, and burneth incense upon altars of brick;
‚'n Volk wat My voortdurend tot toorn prikkel tot my aangesig; wat in tuine offer, en wierook op altare van bakstene brand;
4
Which remain among the graves, and lodge in the monuments, which eat swine’s flesh, and broth of abominable [things is in] their vessels;
Wat onder die grafte bly, en in die monumente oornag, wat varkvleis eet, en sop van verfoeilike dinge is in hulle vate;
5
Which say, Stand by thyself, come not near to me; for I am holier than thou. These [are] a smoke in my nose, a fire that burneth all the day.
Wat sê, Staan op jou eie, kom nie naby my nie; want ek is heiliger as jy. Hierdie is ’n rook in my neus, ’n vuur wat die hele dag brand.

Behold, [it is] written before me: I will not keep silence, but will recompense, even recompense into their bosom,
Kyk, dit is voor My geskrywe: ek sal nie stilhou nie, maar sal vergoed, selfs vergoed in hulle boesem,

Your iniquities, and the iniquities of your fathers together, saith the LORD, which have burned incense upon the mountains, and blasphemed me upon the hills: therefore will I measure their former work into their bosom.
Julle ongeregtighede, en die ongeregtighede van julle vaders saam, sê die HERE, wat wierook op die berge gebrand het, en My op die heuwels gelaster het: daarom sal ek hulle vorige werk in hulle boesem meet.

Thus saith the LORD, As the new wine is found in the cluster, and [one] saith, Destroy it not; for a blessing [is] in it: so will I do for my servants’ sakes, that I may not destroy them all.
So sê die HERE, Soos die nuwe wyn in die tros gevind word, en een sê, Vernietig dit nie; want ’n seën is daarin: so sal ek doen om my dienaars se ontwil, dat ek hulle nie almal vernietig nie.

And I will bring forth a seed out of Jacob, and out of Judah an inheritor of my mountains: and mine elect shall inherit it, and my servants shall dwell there.
En ek sal ‚'n saad uit Jakob voortbring, en uit Juda ‚'n erfgenaam van my berge: en my uitverkorenes sal dit erf, en my dienaars sal daar woon.

And Sharon shall be a fold of flocks, and the valley of Achor a place for the herds to lie down in, for my people that have sought me.
En Saron sal ’n kraal vir troppe wees, en die vallei van Achor ’n lêplek vir kuddes, vir my volk wat My gesoek het.

But ye [are] they that forsake the LORD, that forget my holy mountain, that prepare a table for that troop, and that furnish the drink offering unto that number.
Maar julle is dié wat die HERE verlaat, wat my heilige berg vergeet, wat ’n tafel vir daardie troep berei, en daardie getal ’n drankoffer voorsien.

Therefore will I number you to the sword, and ye shall all bow down to the slaughter: because when I called, ye did not answer; when I spake, ye did not hear; but did evil before mine eyes, and did choose [that] wherein I delighted not.
Daarom sal ek julle tot die swaard toewys, en julle sal almal neerbuig tot die slagting: omdat toe ek geroep het, julle nie geantwoord het nie; toe ek gespreek het, julle nie gehoor het nie; maar die kwaad in my oë gedoen het, en gekies het dit waarin ek nie behae gehad het nie.

Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD, Behold, my servants shall eat, but ye shall be hungry: behold, my servants shall drink, but ye shall be thirsty: behold, my servants shall rejoice, but ye shall be ashamed:
Daarom so sê die Here GOD, Kyk, my dienaars sal eet, maar julle sal honger wees: kyk, my dienaars sal drink, maar julle sal dors wees: kyk, my dienaars sal juig, maar julle sal beskaamd wees:

Behold, my servants shall sing for joy of heart, but ye shall cry for sorrow of heart, and shall howl for vexation of spirit.
Kyk, my dienaars sal sing van vreugde van hart, maar julle sal skreeu van smart van hart, en sal huil van gebrokenheid van gees.
15
And ye shall leave your name for a curse unto my chosen: for the Lord GOD shall slay thee, and call his servants by another name:
En julle sal julle naam agterlaat vir ‚'n vloek aan my uitverkorenes: want die Here GOD sal jou doodmaak, en sy dienaars by ‚'n ander naam noem:

That he who blesseth himself in the earth shall bless himself in the God of truth; and he that sweareth in the earth shall swear by the God of truth; because the former troubles are forgotten, and because they are hid from mine eyes.
Dat hy wat homself in die aarde seën, homself in die God van waarheid sal seën; en hy wat in die aarde sweer, sal by die God van waarheid sweer; omdat die vorige benoudhede vergeet is, en omdat hulle van my oë verborge is.

For, behold, I create new heavens and a new earth: and the former shall not be remembered, nor come into mind.
Want kyk, ek skep nuwe hemele en ‚'n nuwe aarde: en die vorige sal nie onthou word nie, en ook nie in die gedagte kom nie.
18
But be ye glad and rejoice for ever [in that] which I create: for, behold, I create Jerusalem a rejoicing, and her people a joy.
Maar wees julle vrolik en juig vir ewig in dit wat ek skep: want kyk, ek skep Jérusalem ’n juiging, en haar volk ’n vreugde.
19
And I will rejoice in Jerusalem, and joy in my people: and the voice of weeping shall be no more heard in her, nor the voice of crying.
En ek sal juig in Jérusalem, en vrolik wees in my volk: en die stem van geween sal nie meer daarin gehoor word nie, en ook nie die stem van geween nie.
20
There shall be no more thence an infant of days, nor an old man that hath not filled his days: for the child shall die an hundred years old; but the sinner [being] an hundred years old shall be accursed.
Daar sal nie meer daar ‚'n kind van dae wees nie, en ‚'n bejaarde man wat sy dae nie vervul het nie: want die kind sal op ‚'n honderd jarige ouderdom sterwe; maar die sondaar van ‚'n honderd jarige ouderdom sal vervloek word.

And they shall build houses, and inhabit [them]; and they shall plant vineyards, and eat the fruit of them.
En hulle sal huise bou, en daarin woon; en hulle sal wingerde plant, en die vrug daarvan eet.
22
They shall not build, and another inhabit; they shall not plant, and another eat: for as the days of a tree [are] the days of my people, and mine elect shall long enjoy the work of their hands.
Hulle sal nie bou, en ‚'n ander daarin woon nie; hulle sal nie plant, en ‚'n ander eet nie: want soos die dae van ‚'n boom is die dae van my volk, en my uitverkorenes sal lank die werk van hulle hande geniet.

They shall not labour in vain, nor bring forth for trouble; for they [are] the seed of the blessed of the LORD, and their offspring with them.
Hulle sal nie tevergeefs arbei nie, en ook nie voortbring tot benoudheid nie; want hulle is die saad van die geseëndes van die HERE, en hulle nageslag saam met hulle.

And it shall come to pass, that before they call, I will answer; and while they are yet speaking, I will hear.
En dit sal gebeur, dat voordat hulle roep, ek sal antwoord; en terwyl hulle nog spreek, sal ek hoor.
25
The wolf and the lamb shall feed together, and the lion shall eat straw like the bullock: and dust [shall be] the serpent’s meat. They shall not hurt nor destroy in all my holy mountain, saith the LORD.
Die wolf en die lam sal saam wei, en die leeu sal strooi eet soos die os: en stof sal die slang se voedsel wees. Hulle sal nie seermaak of vernietig in my hele heilige berg nie, sê die HERE.
